How to Clean Up PCM Spills

If you have a spill or leak of phase change material (PCM), here are some steps you can follow to clean up:

  1. Identify the leaking pack and dispose of it in the trash.
  2. Use absorbent materials such as paper towels, rags, or absorbent pads to contain and absorb the spilled PCM.
  3. If any PCM remains on the surface, use a mild detergent and water to clean the area thoroughly.

 

How to Dispose of PCM Ice Packs
