Every project starts with the shipment itself: product sensitivity, target temperature, transit duration, lane profile, payload, handling environment, sustainability goals, budget and operational constraints.


The result is a packout designed around the real application, not selected from a fixed catalogue.

The right material, not a preferred material

Thermogard is not tied to one insulation or cooling technology. Our teams can evaluate a broad range of insulation systems, coolants, cartons, liners, phase change materials, recyclable materials, reusable formats and hybrid configurations.

We specify the combination best suited to your thermal performance, sustainability, operational and cost objectives.

Rapid prototyping and ThermalIQ® modelling

For suitable projects, our teams can work through multiple packout iterations within one week. ThermalIQ® modelling lets us compare insulation, coolant, payload, duration and ambient conditions, helping refine the design and establish a desktop-validated concept before full physical testing.

Full laboratory testing and validation

Selected concepts move into controlled physical testing using Thermogard’s in-house laboratory equipment and technical expertise. Testing is selected around the risks, profiles and approval requirements of each programme.

Validation outputs can include performance data, thermal graphs, packout configuration summaries and formal reports to support internal review and approval.

Designed for repeatable results

A single successful test is not enough. Thermogard defines the approved packout configuration, conditioning requirements and assembly method, then tests against controlled profiles to build confidence that performance can be reproduced across repeated shipments, operators and locations.
